One of three divisions seized the opportunity for coaching support. Through a combination of executive coaching and team workshops, the Divisional Managing Director and his two senior managers experienced heightened leadership confidence and greatly improved communication throughout the Division. Operating performance rose to record levels of sales revenue. These remarkable results of accelerated learning and performance of the managers led to promotion to full Directorship roles. Other senior managers in the Group subsequently joined the coaching support programme and also achieved Director status.
The Chief Executive extended the offer of personal development coaching support to the Group’s team of increasingly pressurised Corporate Services Managers. Their collaboratively designed coaching programme led them to establishing a higher group-wide profile, enabling greater integration and influence in the business.
Over the period of the support interventions, Group turnover increased by 60% and the huge challenge of constant change was met by an increasingly confident and competent Leadership Team. There was explicit acknowledgement by the Board that coaching support had been a vital contributor to the Group’s significantly improved performance and continued success in progressing towards achieving its planned exit strategy.
